"Colour is the starting point for everything I make. I tend to work with a core of five earthy tones – sun-baked terracottas, dusty pinks, rich reds and deep browns. They’ve been with me since I was sixteen, back in fashion college – and they still help me feel focused, calm, almost meditative." — Kara
