Colour Consultation Terms & Conditions

By booking either a virtual or in-home colour consultation you agree to our terms and conditions.

• You understand and accept that this is an advisory service to help you complete your decorating journey.
• Advice from our consultants is given in good will.
• Colour, finish and quantity decisions made in these consultations and at point of purchase are the responsibility of the customer. 
• COAT & their staff are not liable for decorating costs, product application, issues with substrates or if you don’t like the scheme when completed. 
• If you are based outside of the UK Mainland, you agree to pay associated travel costs.
• All of our consultants have completed an in-house training programme provided by our Colour Lead.
• You agree to your consultant being accompanied by another member of staff for safety or training purposes.
• You agree to create a safe space for your consultant. If the project is a building site, appropriate PPE falls to the responsibility of the client or site management and must be provided.
• The safety of our staff is our number one priority. If at any time a consultant feels unsafe, they retain the right to terminate your appointment, leave your property and you will not be entitled to a refund. 
• Customers will be informed in the event of staff emergencies, unexpected travel delays or illness and every attempt to reschedule your appointment at another convenient time will be made. 
• Your consultant may receive calls from our Head Office during an appointment, which they must take to ensure staff safety.
